Position Overview
The Web Content Manager (WCM) is an intricate part of the daily operations of the site. Duties include reviewing user content submissions, verifying documentation and maintaining records for publication standards, categorizing content and back-end administration of the site. Ideal candidate will have experience in working in a web production site and have some experience in Adobe Photoshop and WYGIWYG HTML programs such as Macromedia Dreamweaver.
This position is remote (1-2 days a week in the office) and will report into the Director of Internet Operations. We are looking for someone who has experience working remote and a self starter who can take responsibility with minimal direction.
Compensation
Based on experience, pay range is $45,000 $60,000 annually with quarterly performance bonuses
Responsibilities
* Review incoming content submissions from members and web users
* Daily communication and interaction with content partners and users
* Maintain record keeping and documentation for compliance
* Preparing content so that is web ready using graphics programs (Adobe Photoshop)
* Assist in development and update of our communications portal and site blog
Qualifications
* Customer service experience including email support
* Experience working online in a web production environment
* Must have experience in working with a remote team, coworkers and other staff members
* It is crucial that the candidate has experience in a remote work environment (ideally a home office free of distractions with high speed internet connection)
